We opened the wall between the living and dining rooms, carried the load on a temporary post while the new header went in, then wrapped the beam, laid new hardwood floors and finished the whole space in a warm neutral palette.

Old tile and adhesive came up first, then the slab was ground flat and patched before a poured speckled resin finish went down wall to wall. The corridor stayed sealed, seamless and easy to clean for daily foot traffic.

The worn flooring came up and the subfloor was cleaned, patched and levelled before large format stone look tiles were laid the full length of the hallway. New baseboards finished the edges for a clean, bright and durable corridor.
